Novus Motorcycles began with one man’s dream to build a high performance motorcycle and to change how we perceive sport bikes. This dream has become a company with four founders who share a common vision of 100% Performance and 0% Emissions. Like many successful companies, Novus Motorcycles started as an idea in a garage. With our team’s collective experience and passion, we look forward to making the original idea a reality changing the way we will all ride motorcycle in the future.

Charlie Hatfield
Founder - President & CEO
Charlie Hatfield is the President and Chief Executive Officer, the original founder and force behind Novus Motorcycles. As president of Charlie Hatfield Design (CHD), a green design firm, he brings to the team more than 10 years of experience in environmentally conscious design. A life long motocross enthusiast, Charlie instills a rider’s perspective into every aspect of Novus design and development. Beyond motorbikes, he has also been active in a variety of motor sports from performance cars to experimental airplanes. Through this combination of passions, Charlie has a knowledge of laminar flow, mechanical workings, and creative design.

Geoffrey Shenk
Founder - Vice President of Investor Relations and Marketing
Geof, Vice President of Investor Relations and Marketing, is one of the founders of Novus Motorcycles. A seasoned interactive media executive and entrepreneur, he has more than 13 years of business experience, specializing in digital advertising and search engine marketing. His prior experience includes leadership roles at innovative web analytics, ad-serving , rich media, and optimization companies including AllAdvantage, Walt Disney Internet Group, I/Pro, DoubleClick and Google. Geof is also an avid motocross and street rider.

Steve Metz
Founder - Vice President of Performance Development & Testing
Steve, Vice President of performance Development and Testing, is one of the founders of Novus Motorcycles. Previously, he was the manager of the Motorcycles and Powersports business for eBay Motors, he brings his knowledge of the motorsports business. Steve has over seven seasons of experience as an active racer in AFM road racing and founder of TigerBike Racing, he offers a comprehensive insight into the analysis and trial of the effectiveness of the design.

Elizabeth Hatfield
Founder - Vice President of Operations
Elizabeth, Vice President of Operations, is one of founders of Novus Motorcycles. She has more than a decade of experience in entrepreneurial business management. As former controller for Charlie Hatfield Design (CHD), a green design firm, and Vice President of a boutique services firm, she contributes a strong management background. With her enthusiasm for innovation and environmental design, Elizabeth will oversee the business operations of this progressive venture.
